Plan Your Stay in Muscat
RHIC 2026 runs from 13–17 December 2026 at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre. December is the kindest month in Oman — warm days, cool evenings, and the sea still swimmable — which makes it an easy congress to arrive early for, or to stay on after.
Hotels, transfers and experiences for delegates are handled by Visit Oman, the national tourism platform, on a landing page built for this congress. Booking there puts your reservation with the operator directly; the congress does not hold rooms or process payment for them.
Before You Travel
Entry & Visas
Oman issues electronic visas through the Royal Oman Police. Requirements depend on your nationality, so start with the portal — it is the only official source, and the only one that can tell you whether you need a visa at all.
Check your eligibility
Many nationalities enter visa-free for short stays. Confirm your own case on the ROP eVisa portal before you apply for anything.
Apply online
Create an account on the portal and complete the application. Apply well ahead of travel rather than in the final week.
Upload your documents
A passport valid for at least six months beyond arrival, and a recent passport photograph.
Receive your eVisa
It arrives by email. Travel with a copy, printed or on your phone, alongside your congress registration.
Delegates who need a letter of invitation for their application can request one after registering — contact the congress secretariat.
